###### Bao Pham

Number Theory 1 & 2

LSU MC 2018-2019

I am currently a fifth year graduate student in mathematics at LSU. My interest is in algorithmic number theory with a focus on modular forms. Aside from researching, I also have an interest in mathematics education. I did my student teaching at McKinley High School and one year of teaching at Lee Magnet High School. While at Lee, I taught Algebra 2. In my free time, I enjoy playing all kinds of games, be it board games, card games, or video games.

###### Sudip Sinha

Combo 2 & Coding

LSU Math Circle 2019

Hi! I'm Sudip, a graduate student in mathematics at LSU. My current research focuses on making sense of probabilistic events that are dependent on "information from the future", for example, insider trading. I'm also interested in the foundational aspects of mathematics like logic. In my spare time, I like to play my classical guitar and dance Argentine tango. My website is

###### Tyler Meyer

LSU MC 2015-2019

Tyler Meyer graduated from LSU in 2014 with a degree in Mathematics. He has been teaching math at Baton Rouge Magnet High School since 2014 and has been working with their Mu Alpha Theta competition team. He has also been an instructor for Math Circle every summer since 2015. His high school courses include Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. His Math Circle courses include Combinatorics and Geometry.

###### Jenny Hileman

Jenny grew up in southwestern Pennsylvania and lived in Ohio before moving to Baton Rouge in 2018. She studied education and also has two master's degrees in Environmental Science and Recreation Studies. She previously worked as a math teacher and is currently an instructor with the LSU College of Engineering. For fun, she enjoys travelling to National Parks, camping, and rock climbing with her husband, as well as spending time with her two dogs.

###### Teaching Assistants

###### Gavin Sabine

LSU Math Circle 2019

Hi! I recently graduated from UT Arlington and this fall I will attend Virginia Tech to start my Master’s + PhD in Mathematics. Furthermore, I have an interest in undergraduate mathematics education, particularly in inquiry-based learning. I plan to foster mathematical confidence in the teenagers at Math Circle and instill in them a continued zealousness for the mathematical sciences.

###### Rohin Gilman

LSU Math Circle 2018-2019

Hi, my name is Rohin Gilman. I am a rising sophomore at Louisiana State University majoring in mathematics with a minor in physics. I have been involved in the Math Circle summer program since my sophomore year of high school, and I competed with the Math Circle competition team for three years.

###### Luci Mai

LSU Math Circle 2018-2019

Hey! I'm Luci and I'm studying mathematics and statistics at LSU. This summer is my second year working with Math Circle. I fell in love with mathematics when I joined my high school’s Mu Alpha Theta. My dream is to return to my alma mater to teach math and be a MAΘ sponsor.

###### Duyen Lam

LSU Engineering 2019

Duyen is a Louisiana State University 2019 graduate with a degree in environmental engineering. She was an engineering ambassador during her time as an undergraduate and enjoyed the experience of interacting with high school students. My name is Sophie Sheffield. I am currently pursuing a degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology at Louisiana State University. My dream is to study dermatology in South Korea and eventually start my own practice in America.

###### Dylan Spedale

LSU Math Circle 2019

Hello! My name is Dylan Spedale and I am currently enrolled at Louisiana State University. Math Circle is near and dear to my heart having been my first exposure to higher level mathematics in high school, and it served as the inspiration for my pursuit of a mathematics degree. I hope that children attending Math Circle will similarly be inspired and develop - or further - a passion for mathematics while also improving their mathematical proficiency.
