ABOUT MATH CIRCLE
Math Circle is a nonprofit that provides summer programs and outreach opportunities designed to build a mathematical community that values intellectual curiosity and collaboration.
Math Circle began at LSU in 2006, inspired by UC Berkeley's National Association of Math Circles. The LSU Math Circle has been held every summer since then and has grown substantially over the years. In 2015, the current directors took over and created a nonprofit to allow Math Circle to grow and accommodate more students each summer. In 2017, the first QTM Math Circle at Emory University was held, allowing two programs to run during the same summer. Math Circle continues to seek new ways to expand and have a positive impact on more students!
At Math Circle, our goal is to provide summer and outreach programs at a minimal cost for students. These programs give students who are passionate about mathematics the opportunity to learn advanced math and become part of a mathematical community. Donations allow us to continue to improve and expand our outreach programs. We are grateful for any contributions!
